Can I be more than one element?
Nope! This isn't Avatar. One element per witch.
Can I use magic before 19?
No, powers are received during a ritual held at the end of your first year. No previous magic ability is possible.
Can I have powers as a first year?
No. First years cannot perform elemental magic however they can still do charms, runes etc.
Under any circumstances can I tell a non-witch about our race?
No. This is not only highly illegal but dangerous to our existence and will not be tolerated.
Can I transfer from other schools?
All elements are able to transfers from other institutions aside from light and spirit due to the rarity of such elements.
What happens to orphaned witches?
Orphaned witches are taken in by The Council, and placed in the care of gaiaparents. No witches are permitted to be adopted by humans according to witch law.
Are witches the only playable race?
Yes. All other races or creatures are referred to as monsters while largely extinct any that manage to bleed through from the spirit world are promptly pursued by demon hunters.
Can I practice other religions?
As this is something that would offend the goddesses who bestow our gifts. No.
Do I get to choose my element and year?
Yes. Second years and up get to choose and element of their liking however first years must wait until the Ritual Ceremony at the end of the school year.
